After a tough college semester, all Eliza Moon wanted was to spend her New Year’s Eve attending Decadence with her best friend. Instead, she finds herself alone. A series of reckless decisions, from a one-night fling with a stranger to stumbling upon a murder scene involving three victims in a ritualistic setting, lead to Eliza starting the new year in jail on murder charges and not completing her final semester of college.

Interpol Special Occult Agent Kyrian Asherton spent his New Year’s fleeing domestic drama by hiding out in his office. There, he is contacted by a mysterious man claiming to be Eliza Moon’s boyfriend. He begs Ky to prove Eliza’s innocence. Ky’s curiosity overpowers his reluctance, and he allows himself to be pulled into the investigation. He knows his success in solving the case lies with building enough rapport with Eliza Moon to get her to reveal what she’s hiding from that one night…
